Meeting your Wealth Manager

This first meeting is simply to help your Wealth Manager understand:

  • Your current situation and what you’re trying to achieve over time.
  • What your feelings are about investment risk and return.

The Wealth Manager will be listening carefully while you talk about where you’ve come from and where you see yourself in the future. Your Wealth Manager won’t be talking about investment products at this stage.

Most first meetings take about 45 minutes to an hour and anything you discuss remains confidential. The meeting is a good opportunity for you to think about whether the Wealth Manager is someone you’d be happy to continue dealing with.

Next step
If you choose to continue, the next step will involve preparing and starting your plan.
